We have high expectations of all girls at Stormont School, and want them to achieve their best. Differentiation is essential in ensuring that the needs of every girl are met and we offer every girl an appropriate level of challenge, whatever her abilities. This is helped by teaching the girls in smaller groups and half classes in some lessons.

In Lower School, girls are taught by their Form Teacher and at least one Classroom Assistant. They have specialist teaching in half class groups for French (timetabled back to back with Maths twice a week), Art, Pottery and Computing, and in full classes for Music and PE.

In Upper School, girls are taught in half class groups for English, Maths, Science and French, as well as for Art, Pottery, Design & Technology, Computing and one of their weekly PE lessons.
