At Stormont, we refer to our Maths curriculum as ‘National Curriculum Plus’. What this means is we work towards the new National Curriculum objectives, with additional learning taking place where it is required in order to prepare the girls for 11+ exams at the various Independent and State secondary schools they eventually apply for.

Maths is taught in such a way as to engage, interest and inspire the girls to do well. Each objective that is taught is tracked, and regular feedback given to parents and to the girls themselves, to enable a general understanding of where their strengths and areas to develop lie.
