Stormont Parents’ Association
Our Stormont Parents’ Association (SPA) is a dedicated and passionate committee that plays an integral role in school life. The committee works hard to enrich the school experience for our girls by organising a range of exciting events that take place throughout the school year.
The SPA committee is led by our parent Co-Chairs, who are supported by a Secretary and Treasurer. They are assisted by a body of parent representatives across all year groups who bring ideas, direction and support to everything the committee organises. It is a wonderful way for parents to become involved in school life, meet other families, and contribute to the continued success of Stormont. We encourage all parents to get involved, whether by volunteering, attending events, or supporting fundraising efforts.
Across the academic year, events are held both during the school day and out of school hours. Events range from seasonal celebrations such as our Christmas Yuletide and Easter events to our themed Autumn and Valentine’s Discos. These events help to foster a strong sense of community and make school life even more special for every child.
Proceeds raised from these events directly benefit the school, whether through investing in new resources for the girls, upgrading facilities or providing enrichment workshops. We continue to support other local charities during the year through various initiatives including our Harvest Festival donations and the MacMillan Coffee Morning.
