Today our Year 3 girls performed their class assembly to lead us into the half term break. They have been reading ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’, which is set during Viking times in Iceland, and have been learning all about the geography of Iceland, including its beautiful natural features such as volcanoes and earthquakes. They have also learned a little about Nordic legend and they presented a scene from the story when a small town is left reeling after an attack by the mythical wolf, Fenrir.
