Congratulations to the group of Year 5 girls who represented Stormont in the STAHs Debating Shield this week. The girls were successful in the heats, winning against Radlett Prep and a team from STAHs Prep. They reached the Gold Final, where they debated the motion “This house believes that teachers should be replaced by robots” against Lockers Park School.

The girls were articulate in their arguments, showed sound reasoning, and confidently offered “Points of Information”. They made their parents and teachers very proud – what a team!
