Beyond the Classroom: A Rich and Diverse Co-Curriculum
At Stormont, we believe that a truly well-rounded education extends far beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular programme is an integral part of school life—designed to enrich each girl’s experience, broaden her horizons, and help her discover new passions.
We offer a diverse and ever-evolving selection of clubs and activities that cater to a wide range of interests and talents. Whether it’s fencing, LAMDA, cookery, chess, gymnastics, art, or ukulele, our programme is built to inspire creativity, nurture resilience, and develop teamwork and leadership skills.
Some clubs are led by our own enthusiastic staff, while others are run by expert external professionals, ensuring high-quality, varied opportunities for a range of age groups. The programme changes termly to keep things fresh and exciting, encouraging girls to step out of their comfort zones and try something new.
In addition, our wraparound care runs until 6pm every day, giving families flexibility and peace of mind. For many girls, this extended day offers a valuable chance to continue learning, socialising or completing homework in a structured environment.
We see the co-curriculum not as an optional extra, but as a vital part of what makes a Stormont education so distinctive. It’s here that lifelong interests are sparked, hidden talents are uncovered, and confidence takes root.
