Sports Day is always one of the best days of our summer term, and yesterday was no exception! The weather was perfect for a morning of competition, which ranged from the more traditional including sprint, egg and spoon, and sack races, to the obstacle course and dressing up race! The girls competed within their year groups but as house teams, trying to win the most points across all the races for their house total.

The effort from all the girls was incredible! Their determination, concentration and sense of enjoyment was apparent, and the team spirit could be heard across the field with house chants and general cheering for each other.

Our event finale was the parent race which is always hugely popular! 64 parents split into relay teams, and the competition was strong! Thank you all for taking part and being good sports, the girls always love to cheer you all on!

Congratulations go to our St Patrick’s house, who were the overall winners of the day. It was a very close competition between all 3 houses, and the girls should be proud of their achievements.
