Year 1 travel through time at Mountfitchet Castle

Year 1 visited Mountfitchet Castle, linked to their History topic on castles and their two English books, Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and The Very Last Castle.

Mountfitchet Castle is a unique open-air museum experience and the trip was interactive, with plenty of opportunities to discover how people lived in the past.

We all had a fantastic time exploring the reconstructed motte and bailey castle.
