At Stormont, an independent preparatory school for girls aged 4-11 in Potters Bar, we’re passionate about giving girls the confidence, skills and self-belief to go out and make their mark on the world. We are one of the first liberal arts prep schools in the UK. With a liberal arts education our pupils don’t learn by rote – instead they are encouraged to ask questions, to explore ideas and draw comparisons across subjects. People are often surprised by the size of our beautiful building compared to the number of girls we have. But for us, that’s the magic — we’re small by design and it means we can give each girl the time, attention and individual support she needs to flourish.

Pupils develop skills for the future through a well-planned curriculum and a range of extra-curricular activities. Pupils' enjoyment of learning is evident in the way they engage in lessons, ask questions and communicate their learning. 
Through our tours offered during the school day, you will experience our classrooms, meet our girls, and explore our facilities in a calm, personal setting. Our next group tours are available on; Thursday 20 November from 10:30-12:00, Monday 1 December from 09.30-11:00, Friday 23 January from 09.30-11:00, Monday 9 February from 09.30-11:00 and Friday 6 March from 09.30-11:00 at the School (The Causeway, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 5HA).
