Wrap Around Care

Our wrap around care aims to be as flexible as possible; children can attend for any length of time regularly or occasionally.

Early Start Club

Commences at 7.30am and is available for girls from Reception through to Year 6.  The cost per session is £5 and parents requesting this service must book in advance so that we can arrange for the appropriate number of staff to supervise.  Bookings are through the School Office by Thursday at noon for the following week.

Extended Care

Reception: Due to the young age of the girls and the long day at school, we encourage parents to collect Reception pupils at the end of the school day, however if parents require after school care, we request that they call the School Office to arrange this in advance. Charges will commence from 3.15pm unless they have a sister in Year 1 or 2 in which case charges commence at 3.30pm. If they have a sister in Prep, charges commence at 3.45pm.

Year 1 and 2: Extended care is available and there is no need to book in advance however please email your daughter’s Form Tutor or the School Office of the end of day arrangements if they are being collected by someone other than their parent or if you know your daughter is going to use the extended care facility. Charges commence at 3.30pm unless they have a sister in Prep in which case they are charged from 3.45pm

Prep: Extended care is available and there is no need to book in advance however please email your daughter’s Form Tutor or the School Office of the end of day arrangements if they are being collected by someone other than their parent or if you know your daughter is going to use the extended care facility. Charges commence from 4.00pm.

If you expect your daughter to stay at school after 4.00pm, she may bring in either a sandwich and/or a piece of fruit. Extended care charges are £3.00 per half an hour or part thereof. Please remember that extended care finishes at 6.00pm when the school closes.

Live Lessons at Stormont School

All lessons at Stormont School are live!  From the start of this second lock down the Senior Leadership Team and the teaching staff knew that the best way to keep the curriculum on track was to have staff work from home teaching live.    We do have key worker children in school to support those who need our help with supervision but they all follow the same curriculum online.

We have listened to parents, adapted where needed and listened to the girls because their welfare and their continuing education is key.  Of course, we would love to be in school together and we look forward to that day but in the meantime, it is business as usual just in a different location.

If you are interested in Stormont School for your daughter, do contact us, we are here to listen.
